Thought of the Nanosecond
So is a Twitter user a Twitterer, a Tweeter or just a Twit? I sort of like the latter. I can see it on the t-shirts now: "Are you a Twit?" Perhaps "Twits Tweet on Twitter." or even "Twits Tweet." What do you think?

The Podman of Alcatraz
Thought of the Nanosecond
I wonder what types of present-day technologies the prison population can access. Are there prisoners with iPods? Is there anyone who has been in the slam for a couple of years who knows what the phrase Web 2.0 means? Does stuff like this even exist inside prison, if only at the peripheries? Or is everything barbells, cigarettes and sharpened spoons?
Would the incarcerated be keen for the Kindle? I know I would. Need to put that on my list of things I'd like to have if I ever become falsely imprisoned.

Rhapsody Assimilates Yahoo! Music Unlimited
Well, it looks like my favorite $5 per month, all you can stream, DRM-less (with the help of Fair Use for Windows Media) music service, Yahoo! Music Unlimited, may be ending or at least changing. I, for one, do not welcome our new Badware Overlords. I wonder if the timing of this announcement was in any triggered by Microsoft's pretty-please bid of last week. They could at least have the decency to take down the new user sign-up page. (via)
